Heffernan reckons there could be a Ballet at the Derby

Seamie Heffernan won the first two races on today’s Leopardstown card and following the victory of BOLSHOI BALLET (EVS FAV) the rider suggested that the four length winner could well be a candidate for a spin around Tattenham Corner in 2021. It’s not unusual for Aidan O’Brien to unleash precocious colts towards the back end of the Flat season and this son of wonder-sire Galileo certainly fitted that bill, showing a taking kick when Heffernan sent him about his business, as he saw off Jessica Harrington’s O’reilly (sure to come on for the experience).
